Our two spacious bay suites have a full-length deck overlooking Pender Harbour, each with private dining areas. Both have their own private 3-piece en suite and kitchenette. Sit on your private deck and take in the harbour views – perfect with a morning cup of coffee, or to unwind at the end of the day with a glass of wine. Or – spend the day relaxing in your comfortable and well-appointed suite, soak in the hot tub just steps away, read a book (if you forgot to bring one, we have a small library) or go to explore one of the many wonderful parks and trails in the area.
Healthy breakfast options include a selection of homemade delights such as omelettes, pancakes or quiche, toast & eggs, an assortment of cereals, coffee, tea and juice, fresh fruit, homemade yogurt, oven-fresh baking with homemade jams, and more.
The adjoining large games/exercise room provides access to the deck and luxurious hot tub overlooking the harbour. Each suite has sound-insulated 2×6 framing and heavily insulated ceilings for a quiet, restful sleep on our top-of-the-line Queen-size beds.
Our Smuggler’s Cove “Tiki Hut” is a very small 100 sq. ft. cabin overlooking Pender Harbour. It has large windows that nearly cover two walls, providing a bird’s eye view of the harbour below (our guests often remark that it is like being in a Tree House). It has an outside hot water on-demand shower, a private 2 piece washroom, a bar fridge and microwave, a full double Murphy Bed and a drop down “Captain’s” table.
Breakfast is optional and is provided at a very reasonable additional cost. As our guest, you are invited to share the large common room and deluxe hot tub.
You are invited to join your hosts on the upper deck for an ever-changing gourmet meal featuring a variety of breakfast fare, often beginning with a homemade vanilla yogurt over a fruit medley, followed by a main course such as omelettes, eggs Benedict, fruit crepes, berry pancakes or the traditional bacon, sausage, eggs, toast and hash browns; accompanied of course by a variety of fruit juices, tea, coffee and oven fresh baking.
We minimize processed foods as much as possible, and wherever we can, rely on homemade products and our local food and fishing businesses.
